Who we are
Salesmova is operated by Salesmova Technologies, based in Lagos, Nigeria ("Salesmova", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and the waitlist. When businesses use Salesmova to manage information about their own contacts, that business is the controller and we process that data on its behalf.
Information we collect
- Waitlist and contact details: your name, business name, work email, WhatsApp number, industry, enquiry volume, enquiry sources, how you heard about us, and anything you tell us in a form or message.
- Attribution data: the campaign or referral link you arrived from, the first page you visited on our website and the website that referred you. We use this to understand which channels bring people to Salesmova.
- Account and usage data once Salesmova launches, such as login details, settings and how you use the product.
- Contact data you add to Salesmova, such as your leads, contacts and conversations.
- Technical data such as device, browser and approximate location, collected when you visit our website.
How we use it
- To manage the waitlist and contact you about early access.
- To provide, secure and improve Salesmova.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To send product updates, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, and to comply with the law, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPC General Application and Implementation Directive 2025.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Salesmova, such as our website hosting provider, Web3Forms (which delivers form submissions to us by email), and messaging and payment providers, under terms that require them to protect it, or where the law requires us to.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. Waitlist details are deleted if you ask us to remove you.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure, so we also limit access to people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
